ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS

Hey guys,

We've gotten alot of images in the past couple of days ( which is great ) but please, try not to send us more than 1 image. This makes our decision harder to make. If you're not sure which one you like best - ASK SOMEONE ELSE!

Also, don't forget to write a description please & thank you. & for those who dont want your work judged by others, remember you can gain more and learn more from a critique rather than a compliment. We are only judging your images based on if it fits the theme or not!

Got it? Good! looking forward to more images tonight!

  2. I agree, though be ready on the night, some guests will be very harsh in their criticism. Take the good and forget the rest. Camille.

  3. I like that point... 'take the good and forget about the rest.' I think that's a very important when sharing your work with others... you can never stop people from saying things constructive or not but you can decide how you want to react to it. :)

  4. Maz, I assume when you refer to bullying you are only referring to the intial post made by the girls. I think that they want an exhibition where everyone has an exhibit. Some people need a nudge along sometimes and don't respond to nicer blog post requests (See other posts). I agree the sentiment is right but the tone is probably not so diplomatic lol. The point of "Ask someone else" I think is just a stress reaction to people sending multiple images (there has been more than one student) and asking us to select the image for them. The rest of the class is not privy to this information so I apologise. That being said I personally, if asked, have done my best to offer some personal opinion without making the decision for them. As a group if we felt the image didnt suit then we asked them to submit a brief blurb to help us grasp their vision. Okie Dokie, Brett.

  5. This is a form of miscommunication. We have not been bullying anyone about their image. Please with futher comments on any posts, let it be relevant to the post itself and not personal issues that are tied to other events .

Thanks, All Raiders of the Darkroom
